Cornilleau Competition 610 – Quality Playing Surface

The playing surface of the table (which available in green or blue) is made of 22mm high density chipboard with Skill Top coating. The table top is designed in such a manner that it neither too rough nor smooth. This allows for the perfect level of ball adherence.

The legs have an in built mechanism to enable the height of the table to be easily adjusted. Additionally, they also have a safety lock in mechanism which keeps the table fixed during play or storage.

The complete surface of the 610 is treated with varnish and also a compound of aluminium, zinc and steel. This makes it resistant to any sort of corrosion.

This Cornilleau Competition 610 comes with 150mm wheels which enable transportation of the table. This feature becomes especially helpful as the table is a static one and not a rollaway.

A net and post set is delivered along with the table. The nets have adjustments mechanism which can be used to modify the height and tension simultaneously.

One of the drawbacks of this table is that it does not offer playback facility i.e. it cannot be used for solo play. But this can be explained by the fact that this is a professional table tennis table used in tournaments where there is no need for solo play.

The static nature of the Cornilleau Competition 610 has its own advantages, the biggest of them being extra stability. It also means that the settings of the table like the net and post placement etc remain undisturbed in the absence of any folding or unfolding.
