It has a 5/8 inch black, edge-banded top. The lines are silk-screened and the quality of playing surface is surprisingly high in a table of this price range. Bounce is consistent, and the table plays as well as it looks. The top also has corner protections pads which will help prevent snagging.

Stiga Daytona table tennis table review - foldedStiga Daytona – Impressive Construction

Overall, this comes across as a well-engineered table tennis table. Fitted with support panels, it has great stability. With its heavy-duty steel chassis, it rests on 1 ½ inch round, self-opening, steel legs.

Set-up is a cinch. In fact you can have the table out of the delivery box and ready to play in a few minutes. Once up, the 3 inch casters make moving it around really easy, and the 2 locking brakes keep it securely in place.

Folding is easy, and one side of the table can folded in playback position for self-practice. The storage dimensions are 32”W x 60”D x 62”H.

Stiga Daytona – Summary

The Stiga Daytona is a good looking piece of equipment that ticks all of the boxes for a family-friendly ping pong table. It even has built-in ball storage, so that’s one less thing you have to go looking for(!). Don’t be deceived by the price, however – this is a really good table, as you would expect from Stiga. This table is a great addition to your games room or basement, and we are happy to give it a good recommendation.
